Hello! My name is Gretchen Tucci. I’m a Pennsylvania Certified School Psychologist with twenty-six years of experience with administering assessments and conducting evaluations on children, adolescents, and adults. I’m excited to have the opportunity to provide services to the clients at Ramous Psychology and Associates. I have a strong mental and behavioral health background. I’m very well versed with administering psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments to diverse clients in order to diagnose and address their individual needs. My goal is to offer a comprehensive service delivery model to clients in order to identify their specific strengths and needs. I recommend targeted interventions for clients to thrive and find success. I’m dedicated to my profession and committed to helping individuals succeed in every facet of life.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology through the University of Pittsburgh in August of 1992 and then obtained a Master of Science in Education and Certification in Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology through Duquesne University in December of 1996. Additionally, I have completed post graduate studies through Duquesne University in their school administration program. Currently, I hold a Level II Certificate as an Educational Specialist through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. I have served in the public-school system for the past twenty-six years offering psychological services. My services have included and are not limited to comprehensive evaluations, counseling, and consultation and collaboration with parents, families, and educators. Additionally, I have assisted multidisciplinary teams with the development of individualized educational programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, Positive Behavior Support Plans, and gifted individualized educational plans (GIEPs). Prior to becoming a school psychologist, I was employed as a mental health counselor and case manager for the Pressley Ridge Schools, Wesley Ridgeview Treatment Center, and the Renaissance Center. I am affiliated with the National Association of School Psychologists and the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania. Prior to completing my coursework, I volunteered for the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, The Pittsburgh Guild for the Blind, and Mayview State Hospital.
