Hello! My name is Dr. Katie Kelsch Psy.D. I am a postdoctoral fellow working towards licensure at Ramous Psychology and Associates under the supervision of Dr. Tara Greene- Minett and Dr. Courtney Ramous, licensed psychologists. I provide both assessment and therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and young adults.
I am a graduate of Duquesne University’s School Psychology program, where I received a MS.Ed. in Child Psychology and a Psy.D. in School Psychology. Prior to Duquesne University, I received a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from Penn State University. My educational training has been focused on understanding developmental processes and the unique challenges young individuals face, as well as supporting the well-being of children and adolescents. I have completed various field placements within the public school setting and I recently completed my pre-doctoral internship within the private practice setting. These experiences have provided me with hands on opportunities to work closely with children, their families, and multidisciplinary service teams, as well as extensive experience in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to the specific needs of each individual I work with.
My training has allowed me to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder, as well as mood-related and psychiatric disorders. I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration and cooperation, and I strive to create comprehensive and holistic strategies to address the various aspects of an individual’s life that influence their overall mental health. I aspire to foster a safe and nurturing environment for all individuals to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically through the use of evidence-based assessment, intervention, and ongoing support.
